We have received two reports that users could not see an entire
dialog box. We have discovered that this is due to using the Large Fonts setting in
W95. An example of the difference between Large Fonts and Small Fonts illustrated
below:
Large
Fonts
Small Fonts
Large Fonts can also affect files that you import into the
Ethnograph editor from your word processor. As many as 8 characters might be cut
from the end of a line when it is imported and numbered. This is an artifact of the
Large Fonts setting.
If you have either of these problems, do the following to check if your display is set
to use Large Fonts.
First, close all programs.
Click Start, Settings, Control Panel
Click Display
Click the Settings Tab
In the lower right corner make sure that Font Size is set to Small Fonts.
Click OK.
If you change this setting, W95 will need to restart your
computer to change from Large Fonts to Small Fonts.
Theoretically this will solve the problem. 10-07-98
