Ethnograph v5 Updates

This page includes patches for the v5 release of the Ethnograph.

Installing a patch is similar to installing the original program.  The difference is that the patch only contains the parts of the program that have changed.

Single User Update Only: 
Do not use this patch if you are updating a Network version. 

Download Patch7S

Patch7S updates v5.0x to v5.07 (see patchS history)

 INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Click on Download Patch7S or Patch7N to start the download. 
  2. When the download is finished, use "My Computer", "Windows Explorer", or "Windows Find Files" to locate Patch7S.exe or Patch7N.exe.
  3. Then double click on Patch7S.exe or Patch7N.exe

Network Update Only:  
Do not use this patch if you are updating a Single User version.

Download Patch7n

Download Server7.zip

You must replace your current ffservXX.exe with a new version of either ffserv16.exe or ffserv32.exe which are contained in Server7.zip.  You may need to experiment to determine which gives you the best performance.

Patch7N updates v5.0x to 5.07  (see patchN history)

NOTE:

If the patch does not succeed, REINSTALL the original program from the CD.  

Then install Patch7S.

DO NOT UNINSTALL The Ethnograph. Reinstalling will not affect any of your Projects or Data Files.
